Malakh joined an array of dynamic speakers who shared their personal journeys and work around youth gang violence, domestic violence and child abuse, albinism, autism, depression, sexual abuse and rape & changing faces of disabilities within the fashion industry!
17th February 2016 ~ Enactus – University of Hertfordshire
Malakh met the Enactus students at the University of Hertfordshire to support them as they work on their projects that will support and empower women who have suffered domestic violence and are currently living in a refuge. The students aim to build up the confidence and skills of the women they engage by developing business opportunities for them that will inspire them to move forward with their lives. The students are inviting Malakh to return to deliver a workshop with them
5th December 2015 ~ Faith Challenging Church
Malakh delivered 2 Safer Relationship Workshops which focused on ‘How To Build Healthy Relationships’ for the youth at Faith Challenging Church with her husband Maurice Ellington; who is also a Life Coach & NLP Practitioner.
15th October 2015 ~ Best Business Women Awards
Only 20 percent of businesses made it to the Finals that’s an amazing 61 out of 263 who where shortlisted for the finals. Malakh was one of those Finalist in the category Community Champion, Malakh was especially touched by the judge’s special mention of her name and the work that she does with young people and women who have suffered abuse.
